# Planitude tasks in Google Calendar

A private link brings tasks and milestones into Google Calendar, next to your meetings, and keeps them up to date.

Available · Free, included in every account · Calendars

## Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar: deadlines next to your meetings

A private calendar link puts your tasks and milestones in the calendar you already use; a morning email reminds you what is due.

### Where it helps

- Your own deadlines next to your meetings, on your phone and your computer.
- Every morning, the list of what is due, without opening the app.
- All projects or just one, only your tasks or all of them.

### What travels where

**From Planitude to Google Calendar**

- Tasks and milestones → Calendar events. Read-only
- Tasks due the next working day, overdue tasks and deadlines → Email at 8:00

## Connect it in three steps

1. **Create your link**: In your profile, under Calendar, create the private link: all projects or one, only your tasks or all of them.
2. **Add it to your calendar**: In Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, add a calendar “from URL” or “subscribe” and paste the link.
3. **Let it update itself**: Changes to the plan reach the calendar at the refresh interval of your calendar app. Email reminders are on by default.

## Requirements

- **Plan**: Free. Every integration is included in every Planitude account.
- **Who can connect it**: Every user, from their own profile: links and reminders are personal.
- **What you need**: A calendar app that can subscribe to a calendar by URL (iCalendar): Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar and most others.

## Good to know

- The link can be revoked and regenerated at any time; the old one stops working.
- Reminders can be turned off from your profile or with one click from the email.

## Frequently asked questions about Google Calendar

### How often does the calendar update?

It depends on the calendar app, which re-reads the link on its own schedule: Google Calendar every few hours, Outlook and Apple Calendar usually more often. In Planitude the plan is always up to date.

### Can I edit tasks from the calendar?

No: the calendar is read-only. Changes are made in Planitude and reach the calendar at the next refresh.

### Do the integrations cost anything?

No. Every integration is included in Planitude, which is free. You only need your own access to the other tool (for example a Jira, Slack or Microsoft 365 account) under its own terms.
