## The project Gantt chart on a PowerPoint slide

A PowerPoint add-in draws the project’s Gantt chart on a slide with native shapes, which stay editable, and refreshes it from Planitude data without touching the rest of the slide.

### Where it helps

- Present the project status to the steering committee.
- Update the monthly progress slide without redrawing it.
- Place the Gantt chart in client documents, in the style of the presentation.

### What travels where

**From Planitude to Microsoft PowerPoint**

- Tasks, phases and milestones → Native PowerPoint shapes
- The plan’s current data → One-click refresh

## How it will work, in three steps

1. **Add the add-in**: From PowerPoint’s Add-ins, add Planitude Gantt. It works in PowerPoint for the web, for Windows and for Mac.
2. **Sign in and choose the project**: Sign in with your Planitude account and choose the project to show.
3. **Insert and refresh**: The Gantt chart appears on the slide. When the plan changes, one click on Refresh redraws the chart without touching the rest of the slide.

## Requirements

- **Plan**: Free. Every integration is included in every Planitude account.
- **Who can connect it**: Anyone with access to the project.
- **What you need**: PowerPoint for the web, for Windows or for Mac, with Microsoft 365 or Office 2024.

## Good to know

- Requires Microsoft 365 or Office 2024.
- The add-in will be distributed through Microsoft’s add-in store.

## Frequently asked questions about Microsoft PowerPoint

### Can the shapes be edited?

Yes. They are PowerPoint rectangles, diamonds, lines and text boxes: you can change their colors and text like any other shape.

### Does refreshing erase my changes to the slide?

Refreshing only redraws the Gantt chart inserted by the add-in: titles, notes and the other elements on the slide stay as they are.

### Do the integrations cost anything?

No. Every integration is included in Planitude, which is free. You only need your own access to the other tool (for example a Jira, Slack or Microsoft 365 account) under its own terms.
