AI and MCP

Claude on your project plans, through MCP

Add Planitude as a custom connector on Claude.ai: Claude reads the plan, analyzes the critical path and proposes changes.

  • Available
  • Free, included in every account

What it does

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and coding tools, through MCP

Planitude has an MCP server: your assistant can answer “are we on time?”, list late tasks or move a phase, always with your permissions.

Where it helps

  • Ask whether the project will finish on time and what puts it at risk.
  • List late tasks or those on the critical path.
  • Move a phase or create tasks by describing them, with a preview before saving.
What travels where

From Planitude to Claude

  • Projects, tasks, critical path, workload, risk and portfolio → The assistant reads them, From Planitude to Claude

From Claude to Planitude

  • Creates and updates → Tasks and dependencies, From Claude to Planitude. Needs write access; it cannot delete projects or tasks

Setup

Connect it in three steps

  1. Add Planitude

In ChatGPT, Claude.ai or Gemini, add a connector with the server address shown in Profile → API keys. In Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI or VS Code, add the same address to the MCP configuration.

  2. Sign in and allow

Sign in to Planitude and choose read-only or read and write access. Developer tools can also use an API key created in your profile.

  3. Ask

“Which tasks are late?”, “What is on the critical path?”, “Move testing one week later.” The assistant works on the real plan.

Requirements

Plan
Free. Every integration is included in every Planitude account.
Who can connect it
Every user, with their own account: the assistant only sees the projects you can access, with your role.
What you need
An assistant or tool that supports remote MCP servers. ChatGPT requires a paid plan with developer mode; on Claude, even the Free plan allows one custom connector.

Good to know

  • The Planitude app in the ChatGPT directory is under review by OpenAI; meanwhile ChatGPT connects with the server address.
  • In Gemini, custom apps are currently available only for personal accounts in the United States (a Google limit).
  • Connected apps are listed in Profile → API keys → Connected apps, where you can revoke them.

Guides and documentation

Frequently asked questions about Claude

Can the assistant delete my projects?

No. Planitude’s MCP tools do not include deletion: the assistant can read and, if you allow it, create and edit, but it cannot delete projects or tasks.

Is my project data used to train models?

Planitude only sends the assistant the data requested by the tools it uses. How ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini handle that data depends on the provider and on your account settings with them.

Do the integrations cost anything?

No. Every integration is included in Planitude, which is free. You only need your own access to the other tool (for example a Jira, Slack or Microsoft 365 account) under its own terms.

How do I disconnect an integration?

From the app's page in the project, with Disconnect, at any time. Nothing is deleted: tasks stay in Planitude, issues and messages stay in the other tool. Connected AI apps are revoked from Profile → API keys.
